Nunney Calling Nunney! VE Day memorial event....Sunday May 11th 2025

May 8th this year will be the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. We had intended to mark the 75th, but of course Covid intervened. Nunney intends this year to mark this important date with a Village Tea Party on Sunday May11th. We would love it if you could join us for a celebratory scone or two.

Come and learn about the contribution of the Village to the war effort, what each house was doing, the GIs stationed here, the evacuees, rationing, life at home, the Home Guard, the tanks, the love stories and the tragedies that made up life in the War.
